Gallery rail floating shelves are the same solid hardwood shelves we build on hidden HOVR brackets — we just add a size-matched metal rail along the front (and side rails when you ask). The rail keeps bottles, books, and display pieces from tipping forward, and it looks sharp on art ledges, bars, and open displays.
Every shelf is cut to your length and depth in our Long Island studio. Shelves 1.75" and thicker carry our Level for Life™ guarantee: up to 300 lbs at 8" depth into studs. 1.5" shelves are rated at 125 lbs on HOVR Slim. Shelving ships in 3–4 weeks; rail hardware kits ship in 1–2 weeks. Every shelf plants a tree.
Finish options for the rail typically include brass, nickel, and black. Designers and contractors can apply to our trade program.
